leo and virgo cusp sign

Leo Virgo Cusp Signs

Characteristics of those born on the
Cusp of Leo and Virgo

Cusp dates: August 19 to August 23
Known as: The Cusp of Exposure

Like the cusp of Cancer and Leo, Leo and Virgo can be another complicated combination. Leo is one of those larger than life characters, which, if you consider how reserved Virgo can be, is bound to lead to internal turmoil. The Element of Virgo is Earth and Leo is Fire. Will earth smother the fire or will the fire continue to burn despite it?

The result is that sometimes the Leo/Virgo will be full of beans and the next minute they will have reverted to not wanting to see anyone, while they do their own thing.

Leo has a huge need to create. Virgos combine their skills and talents together for the good of others. This results in a combination that has huge energy and ambition to be successful in whatever they choose to become involved in.

They have great business acumen because of their meticulous attention to detail combined with their ability to stick to a well thought out organised routine. They tend to be popular and even inspiring to others.

Although the Virgo side of their nature can make them want to keep their own company at times, Leo and Virgo cusps are friendly and sociable. They love to have fun and live life with enthusiasm, throwing themselves into whatever they choose to do.

The natural leadership of these people and their administrative prowess help ensure that their projects are successful. They are real “givers” and one of the most caring Zodiac sign combinations.

Please note the “Cusp Dates” above are general and may differ from this in some years.

  1. best relationship i ever had was virgo to virgo. we did argue quite a bit, but it was never heeatd arguments, and we enjoyed them. we supported each-other well and were brutally honest we are both still in love, but i pushed her away.. post traumatic stress changed me, and i had issues that made me feel she was safer without me, so i moved on. broke both our harts., but its all i could see to do to pout her in a position that someone who was more capable of being the person she deserved. i gave up my true love even though it meant hurting her so she could find a more proper guy for herself and be happy. so now i’m happy she found happiness even though she was the one

  2. My whole life I have been drawn to cancers and Aquarius’s. Neither has ever lasted or been very beneficial. The only relationships I have felt deeply about and felt entirely connected was with another Virgo or another cusp rider involving a leo or cancer.

      1. I guess I’m more of the leo side of my sign I’m Leo-Virgo born {August 22nd 1991} because while reading the Virgo reasons why they don’t get along with Aquarius just doesn’t sound right to me. I do take into account that the guy that I’m dating is an Aquarius – pisces cusp though maybe that’s why?

  3. I was born on the Leo/Virgo cusp and I had fallen in love with an Aquarius who did not love me in return. I really never understood what it was that attracted me to her, I can honestly say it just seemed like she had some aura that she emitted that I really liked. Then my last relationship was with another Aquarius and it was extremely short. Her insecurities killed it for me. Is it me or do we have difficulty in finding love? I am very familiar with unrequited love. I have two female friends, one which is a Leo and the other which is a Leo/Virgo. I developed feelings for the Leo but she only liked me as a friend, even though I could not be with her I consider her one of my best friends. The Leo/Virgo was not interested either and I quickly got over it and didn’t even understand why I briefly felt that way. What I find interesting is that my Leo friend was love with a Scorpio and even he became a friend of mine which I thought was cool. Just recently probably my most painful heartbreak was from a Scorpio. I had never loved anyone as much as I loved her. Now I never want to meet another female Scorpio again.

  4. Adrian, I am a Leo/Virgo (closer to Leo) cusp as well, and dated a Scorpio for 5 years. It was so tumultuous and awful. I never want to see another Scorpio male!

Now I am dating a Leo/Virgo cusp, who is closer to Virgo. The traits are undeniable. It hasn’t been easy, but he’s certainly the most loving guy I’ve ever met,
What’s odd are his tendencies to be pulled by both sides. He’s impatient over the smallest things, but patient when it comes to heated arguments and more important subjects. He’s very warm and happy, but also kind of cold and doesn’t really talk about feelings. He acts like a kid when we are playing around, but is such a critical perfectionist… that just KILLS me because as a Leo, I love everyone, and embrace imperfections!
The one thing I do think is that he is very loyal. We have a long-distance relationship and for the first time ever, I’ve been quite insecure. I’m not sure why though- I haven’t been doing anything to cause a guilty conscience and I honestly don’t think he has either. He’s always there to talk and I’ve never caught him in a lie. Maybe it’s his secretive nature? I’m highly intuitive, so there’s something I’m catching onto. But I’m also an open book so maybe I don’t like the fact that he’s not.
Or who knows, maybe he’s just going to rip my heart out… though I know he would do it in the most considerate way possible.
